Sariska Tiger Reserve is situated amidst the Golden Triangle of India , between the national capital of New Delhi and Rajasthanโs state capital Jaipur in the Alwar district of Rajasthan. The park is spread over an area of 1213 sq kms. (881 sq km core/332 sq kms buffer) of Aravalli hills in Alwar.

2004 was a sad year for Sariska. Not a single tiger was left here. At that time a programme was initiated to reintroduce tigers from Ranthambhore National Park closest to Sariska in landscape and plant phenology. Tiger relocation of Sariska was unique in its type in all over the world.
