Sariska Wild Ventures is an independent private tour operator based in Alwar, Rajasthan, run by proprietor Pushpendra Saini. We arrange safari vehicles, drivers, guides and permit applications for Sariska Tiger Reserve, and help with hotels, resorts and multi-day packages around Alwar.
We are not the Rajasthan Forest Department. Permits are issued only by the Department, and every safari depends on their availability, rules and timings. What we do is handle the paperwork, put you in the right vehicle with someone who knows the terrain, and be reachable when plans change.

About Sariska Tiger Reserve
Sariska sits in the Aravalli hills of Alwar district in Rajasthan, between Delhi and Jaipur. The reserve covers roughly 1,213 sq km — about 881 sq km of core and 332 sq km of buffer — of dry deciduous forest, scrub and rocky ridge, with old temples, a fort and stepwells scattered through it.
Tigers were reintroduced to Sariska from Ranthambhore beginning in 2008, after the reserve lost its tiger population, and the population has been rebuilding since under the Forest Department and with the cooperation of surrounding villages. Alongside tigers, the reserve holds leopard, striped hyena, jackal, sambar, chital, nilgai, wild boar and langur, and more than 250 recorded bird species — peafowl, grey partridge, treepie, sandgrouse, raptors and winter migrants around the water bodies.
Getting there
- From Delhi: about 200 km, roughly 4 to 5 hours by road via Gurgaon and Behror.
- From Jaipur: about 110 km, roughly 2.5 hours by road.
- By rail: Alwar Junction is the nearest major station, around 35 km from the Sariska gate.
- By air: Jaipur is the nearest airport; Delhi is the nearest international airport.
Best time to visit
October to March gives the most comfortable weather and good birding. April to June is hot but productive around water points. Timings and seasonal closures are set by the Forest Department and change through the year — the timings table lists the current slots, and we will confirm before you travel.
