The Bala Quila route climbs the forested ridge below Alwar's hill fort - a quieter drive known for leopard movement, peafowl and sweeping views over the city.

The Bala Quila route runs up the wooded ridge that carries the road to Alwar's hill fort. It is a short, scenic drive and a favourite with photographers because of the light and the views back over Alwar.

Leopard, hyena, jackal, nilgai and a good spread of resident birds are recorded along this route. As with every safari in the reserve, sightings are never guaranteed - the forest decides.

Permits for this route are issued separately from the main gate permits. We arrange the paperwork, vehicle and guide for you.

Rates for this safari

Permit fees are fixed by the Rajasthan Forest Department and are collected on your behalf; the service component covers the vehicle, driver, guide and our handling. Where a breakup is not shown above, we have not published one rather than estimate it — ask us and we will confirm the exact split for your date.
